SanidApp and the scope of this policy

SanidApp is an independent Christian digital content and educational project operated from Ontario, Canada. It shares Bible teaching, reflections, music, educational games and resources for spiritual growth. This policy applies to the current SanidApp website.

Information you choose to share

You can use the reviewed features without an account. No registration, comment or subscription forms were identified. Some games accept written answers used during the activity on the page; no transmission of those answers to SanidApp was identified. Avoid entering personal or confidential information.

Email contact

Contact is part of About. The SanidApp@outlook.com link opens your email application; it does not automatically send a message. If you write, your address, message and attachments pass through email providers and may be received and retained by the operator. Messages are handled through the Outlook mailbox and may be retained there. SanidApp has no website contact-form backend or separate contact database. It does not offer newsletters or mailing lists. No formal email retention or automatic deletion schedule has been established. Do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.

Preferences and progress in your browser

The site uses localStorage for Bible version, book and chapter, study translations, game mode, seen challenges, progress, best times and activity dates. It keeps up to ten recent recommendation identifiers. Appearance stores the Light, Dark or Auto choice; Auto may follow the browser and seasonal calendar without requesting precise location. Reader controls store size, width and focus mode. Saved keeps up to 100 links with title, type and saved date, not full texts. These values are not synchronized through an account, and their transmission was not identified in the reviewed code.

Messages stores which announcement occurrences have been seen or dismissed and a session indicator that limits automatic popups. That indicator is also in localStorage: its logical inactivity window is 30 minutes, not a promise of browser deletion. Occurrence state is cleaned according to its ending date when processed again, with a maximum of 256 records and an accepted horizon of 400 days. Expired entries may remain until that cleanup. The Daily Verse is public editorial content selected by date; it is not scheduled from a visitor profile and requires no account.

Other preferences have no scheduled expiry: they remain until you, the browser or a feature removes or replaces them. Scroll progress, the active section, current filters and text selections are interface state, not stored reading tracking. Clearing site data removes preferences and progress; game resets do not necessarily remove every key. On shared devices, saved links and progress may reveal religious activity or interests.

Pagefind and curated passage indexes search in the browser. Files are downloaded from this site, including indexes, fragments and chapters; the reviewed code does not send the query to an external search engine or analytics service. Some searches appear in the URL. A copied, shared or reloaded URL may contain the query and appear in browser history, hosting logs or other systems that receive that URL. Chapter paths also reveal which resources are requested.

Spiritual and emotional topics may reveal sensitive interests. No advertising profile of those searches was identified. This does not guarantee anonymity: hosting and external providers may receive technical data.

Selection and sharing

Selections remain during reading. Sharing may open your device’s share feature, copy text and a link to the clipboard, offer manual copying or prepare a local image for download/sharing. No automatic upload of these images to an external service by SanidApp was identified. Native sharing availability depends on the browser and secure context.

What you choose to share may include a passage, translation, reference, public Message link or game result. Your chosen application and recipients receive that content and have their own practices. Links can retain references or queries in their URL; do not share information you want to keep private.

Hosting and technical data

The site serves static files, with AWS S3 and CloudFront providing hosting and delivery. CloudFront access logging is off. To deliver files, the provider processes technical request data such as IP addresses and HTTP metadata. This does not imply that all provider operational logs are disabled.

External links and images

The site serves photos and thumbnails from local files. Credits do not load images from Pexels or other providers. When you follow a credit or another external link, the destination may process your visit according to its own practices.

Video and music

The YouTube player loads only when you press play and uses youtube-nocookie.com. Once activated, YouTube may receive technical data and apply its own practices. Thumbnails are served by the site. Some links open YouTube or other music services directly.

Voluntary contributions

If you choose to contribute, the link takes you to PayPal. SanidApp does not ask for card details on the site. PayPal applies its own practices and may share information about the contribution with the recipient.

Cookies, caching and analytics

SanidApp does not use analytics or set cookies on the site. Your browser may cache files and store the local preferences described in this policy. External services may follow their own practices when you visit or activate them.

Children and families

SanidApp serves a general Christian audience, including families. Some games and educational resources are designed for children and young people. Playing does not require a name, age, email address or registration. Progress is stored in the browser and may be visible on a shared device. An adult can guide use and access to external services. If you have a concern about information involving a child, contact us without including unnecessary details.

Security

No website, email or external service can guarantee absolute security. Avoid sharing unnecessary confidential information.

Retention

There is no formal retention period or automatic deletion schedule for Outlook email. You can clear locally saved preferences and progress through your browser controls. External providers may retain data according to their own practices.

Privacy questions

You can email SanidApp to ask about information handling or request access, correction or deletion where applicable. Information kept only in your browser is managed on that device.

Changes to this policy

If the practices described here change, we will update this policy and its last updated date.
