“Surely God is good to Israel, to those who are pure in heart. As for me, my feet had almost slipped; my steps had nearly given way. For I envied the arrogant when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.” (Psalms 73:1-3)

My child: “…I have this against you: you have left your first love.” (Revelation 2:4) It is common that:

“…because wickedness has multiplied, the love of many will grow cold.” (Matthew 24:12)

Today, let us cast off all envy and every work of the flesh: “For where there is jealousy and strife, there is disorder and every wicked deed.” (James 3:16) Let us take off this weight that besets us, and from today onward: “Do not envy evil people or desire to be with them, for their hearts plot robbery and their lips speak iniquity.” (Proverbs 24:1-2) Let us take our eyes off our surroundings and remember that we must be:

“Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” (Hebrews 12:2)

Let us give importance to the one who deserves it: Jesus our Lord! Let us do so while we have time, without waiting for: “…my steps had nearly slipped…” to become “my steps slipped.”

May God continue to bless you
and may you continue to have an excellent day in Christ Jesus!
