Lord… Is it still possible after 4 days dead?

“Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou believedst, thou shouldest see the glory of God? So they took away the stone. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou heardest me. And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the multitude that standeth around I said it, that they may believe that thou didst send me. And when he had thus spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. He that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with grave-clothes; and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.” (John 11:40-44)

“And when he was entered in, he saith unto them, Why make ye a tumult, and weep? the child is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn. But he, having put them all forth, taketh the father of the child and her mother and them that were with him, and goeth in where the child was. And taking the child by the hand, he saith unto her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, Arise. And straightway the damsel rose up, and walked; for she was twelve years old. And they were amazed straightway with a great amazement.” (Mark 5:39-42)

Many things

In life there are many things we want to be or do… we have dreams, projects… but obstacles often arise that prevent us from achieving them, and we gradually put them away in a box of memories…

To you who have forgotten those dreams, those desires, those projects left behind, who say your time has already passed; to you who have grown accustomed to your situation…
To you whose dream, people say, has died and already smells bad…
To you whose marriage is on the verge of breaking apart; to you whose child disrespects you, is rebellious, and seems a lost cause; to you who have been told you cannot have children; to you who have been told there is no hope, that your illness or a family member’s illness is advanced and nothing can be done…
To you whose story everyone believes is over, whose dreams they believe have lost their light…

I want to tell you that…

\1. nothing is impossible for God

“For no word from God shall be void of power.” (Luke 1:37)

\2. you are God’s creation, you are no stranger, and he knows your cause

You, who are the work of his hands

“That respecteth not the persons of princes, Nor regardeth the rich more than the poor; For they all are the work of his hands.” (Job 34:19)

\3. make an effort to believe!

“Straightway the father of the child cried out, and said, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.” (Mark 9:24)

\4. trust in the Lord

Trust, trust, and cry out to the King today!

“Trust in Jehovah with all thy heart, And lean not upon thine own understanding:” (Proverbs 3:5)

Remember that

“Jesus Christ [is] the same yesterday, today, and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8)

And if he did it for Lazarus, who rose after being dead for 4 days, he will do it for you too!

He can work a miracle in you right now; he can transform you; he can revive your dreams, your situation; he will not delay and will come to your aid…
He will order the stone removed and say to you: Talitha cumi! (Mark 5:41)

You who need a miracle, you who have not seen the light of day for a long time:
Can you say to the King today: ‘Lord, call me out and raise me to life’?

May God continue to bless you
and may you continue to have an excellent day in Christ Jesus!
I invite you to stop by the Songbook
