Woman, do you know who you are in God?

Proverbs 18:10 (Woman)
“The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are lifted up.”
From creation, we can learn that God created woman to be beautiful, courageous, generous, a daughter, a treasured possession, a light, virtuous, wise, self-controlled, clear-minded, strong, with an identity!… Sadly, however, many women today play the dangerous game of trying to fit into society’s stereotypes as though that were the greatest achievement. They become so caught up in it that they suffer great losses, are abused and abandoned, or become pregnant by a man who ends up running away. Others are deceived, and others decide to end their lives by suicide.
Woman, do you know who you are in God? Today we will look at just 8 points from God’s Word that will make you think again.
Woman
\1. It has been established that you are God’s handiwork
“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God afore prepared that we should walk in them.” (Ephesians 2:10)
\2. You have been called to be a daughter of God
“But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, [even] to them that believe on his name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” (John 1:12-13)
\3. God has poured out wisdom from above upon you so that you can build
“Every wise woman buildeth her house; But the foolish plucketh it down with her own hands.” (Proverbs 14:1)
“Strength and dignity are her clothing; And she laugheth at the time to come. She openeth her mouth with wisdom; And the law of kindness is on her tongue.” (Proverbs 31:25-26)
\4. God has said that you are generous and merciful
“She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; Yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy. She is not afraid of the snow for her household; For all her household are clothed with scarlet.” (Proverbs 31:20-21)
\5. God has determined that if you listen to his Word, you are his treasured possession
“Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be mine own possession from among all peoples: for all the earth is mine:” (Exodus 19:5)
\6. You are not insignificant; God has established that you are light
“Ye are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hid. Neither do [men] light a lamp, and put it under the bushel, but on the stand; and it shineth unto all that are in the house. Even so let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.” (Matthew 5:14-16)
\7. God created you to be needed and useful!
“And Jehovah God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a help meet for him.” (Genesis 2:18)
\8. You are intelligent, valuable… virtuous!
“A worthy woman who can find? For her price is far above rubies.” (Proverbs 31:10)
\9. In addition to all of the above, women were entrusted with the beautiful task of giving birth
“A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but when she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for the joy that a man is born into the world.” (John 16:21)
Woman, you are all this and so much more!
Sadly, not knowing who we are leads us to underestimate ourselves (Hosea 4:6)… But now that you have read this… is it worth giving up who you are to feed on crumbs?
