“Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? For you have been bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which belong to God.” (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)

We all long to be healthy, vigorous, and strong so that we can carry out our activities. We know that none of us likes getting sick; it keeps us from so many things. Yet we also know that most illnesses result from our own neglect! The Lord desires that we be healthy (3 John 1:2), but we forget that these bodies we have are not our own! (1 Corinthians 6:19). Everything has a manual; the manual for our body is the Word of God. Did you know that the Word of God teaches us: \1. To prevent sexually transmitted diseases: 1 Corinthians 6:18, Leviticus 18:20, Hebrews 13:4, Exodus 20:14, Colossians 3:5-7… \2. For when we have no strength left: Psalms 119:50, Isaiah 41:10, Isaiah 40:29-31 \3. To avoid problems with excess weight: Proverbs 25:16, Proverbs 23:2 \4. To avoid vices: Proverbs 23:20, Romans 12:1, 2 Corinthians 7:1 \5. To escape stress: Psalms 55:22, 2 Corinthians 4:7-9, Isaiah 26:3, Matthew 11:28, Matthew 6:33 \6. To avoid digestive problems: Proverbs 15:17, 1 Timothy 5:23 \7. To avoid insomnia: Proverbs 3:24, Job 11:198. \8. To have a healthy mind: Colossians 3:2, Titus 1:15-16, Psalms 1:1-6, Romans 1:28, Joshua 1:8 Please, let us not abandon the Word of God…

“Behold, I will bring them healing and medicine; I will heal them and reveal to them an abundance of peace and truth.” (Jeremiah 33:6)

Will we return to the manual the Lord left us?
