Revelation 3:7-8
“Write to the angel of the church in Philadelphia: This is what the Holy One, the True One, says, the one who holds the key of David, who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens: I know your works. Behold, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut, because although you have little strength, you have kept my word and have not denied my name.”

I will open a door for you because:

– You meditate on my Word

“This book of the law shall never depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may observe and do everything written in it; for then you will make your way prosper, and everything will go well for you.” (Joshua 1:8)

– And you delight in it

“But their delight is in the law of the Lord, and they meditate on his law day and night.” (Psalms 1:2)

– You glorify me by bearing fruit

“My Father is glorified in this: that you bear much fruit and thus be my disciples.” (John 15:8)

– You have remained faithful to me

“His master said to him: Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will put you over much. Enter into your master’s joy.” (Matthew 25:21)

– You have resolved to praise me despite your circumstances

“Praise the Lord, O my soul. I will praise the Lord throughout my life; I will sing psalms to my God as long as I live.” (Psalms 146:1-2)

– You have decided to put my Word into practice

“But be doers of the word, and not merely hearers, deceiving yourselves.” (James 1:22)

For these reasons and many more…
Do you still think my door will be closed to you, good servant?
