Lord, thank you for your protection!

Isaiah 54:17 Protection
“No weapon formed against you will prosper, and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the inheritance of the servants of the Lord, and their salvation will come from me, says the Lord.”

The Lord is almighty!

There is nothing in heaven, on earth, or in hell that can intimidate the Lord.

“Even before there was a day, I was; and no one can deliver out of my hand. Who can hinder what I do?” (Isaiah 43:13)

“For the Lord of hosts has determined it, and who will prevent it? His hand is stretched out, and who will turn it back?” (Isaiah 14:27)

“And what is the surpassing greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his mighty strength, which he worked in Christ, raising him from the dead and seating him at his right hand in the heavenly places, above every principality, authority, power, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the age to come. He put all things under his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church, which is his body, the fullness of the one who fills all in all.” (Ephesians 1:19-23)

Oh! Truly, who is like the Lord? The Lord is almighty! Could the Lord fail in his protection? Never!

His strength, power, wisdom, and beauty amaze us, yet his protection leaves us speechless

The Lord has delivered us from enemies (Psalms 44:7), from anguish (Psalms 138:7), from pressure (Daniel 3:17), when it was said there was no provision (Ezekiel 34:27)… Searching through the Word, we find Psalms 91 to give us a lesson on how the almighty Lord’s protection helps us. It is wonderful to be part of the winning team; it is a great blessing to walk under the shadow of the Almighty… Who can fill us with fear if the Lord is our shield and strength?

Certainly we thank him for everything we know about, but

“The wicked plot against the righteous and gnash their teeth at them. The Lord will laugh at them, for he sees that their day is coming.” (Psalms 37:12-13)

Have we asked ourselves how many times the Lord has delivered us from things we did not even know about? What great protection!

Today is a good day to understand that we should thank the Lord because his blessing nourishes, strengthens, and shelters us!

“Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly [places] in Christ:” (Ephesians 1:3)

So take heart! If we are going through a time of tribulation, or something seeks to fill us with fear… we will acknowledge that

“But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory and the one who lifts my head.” (Psalms 3:3)

Therefore

“I will not fear ten thousands of people who set themselves against me on every side.” (Psalms 3:6)

For we have made the Lord, who is our hope, the Most High, our dwelling place! (Psalms 91:9) Amen!

And the Lord says

“Even to your old age I am the same, and even to your gray hairs I will sustain you; I made you, I will carry you, I will sustain and keep you.” (Isaiah 46:4)
