“Jehovah is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; My God, my rock, in whom I will take refuge; My shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower.” (Psalms 18:2)

When circumstances rise against me, you always:

“Bow down thine ear unto me; deliver me speedily: Be thou to me a strong rock, A house of defence to save me. For thou art my rock and my fortress; Therefore for thy name’s sake lead me and guide me.” (Psalms 31:2-3)

In the face of any scheme of the enemy, I know that:

“… the Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my stronghold, in whom I will trust; my shield, the strength of my salvation, my high refuge; my Savior, you have delivered me from violence.” (2 Samuel 22:2-3)

From you, O great Lord, comes my help, and you will always be:

“… a rock of refuge for me, to which I may continually come. You have given the command to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress.” (Psalms 71:3)

Therefore:

“… though the earth be moved and the mountains be carried into the heart of the sea; though its waters roar and churn, and the mountains tremble at their fury.” (Psalms 46:2-3)

“Though a host should encamp against me, My heart shall not fear: Though war should rise against me, Even then will I be confident.” (Psalms 27:3)

Because:

“Jehovah of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. [Selah” (Psalms 46:7)
