“While he was saying these things, a woman in the crowd raised her voice and said to him: Blessed is the womb that bore you and the breasts that nursed you. But he said: Rather, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it.” (Luke 11:27-28)

Those:

“…whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditate on his law day and night. They will be like a tree planted beside streams of water, bearing its fruit in season, whose leaves do not fall; and everything they do will prosper.” (Psalms 1:2-3)

Blessed is the one who can say:

“Oh, how I love your law! It is my meditation all day long. Through your commandments you have made me wiser than my enemies, for they are always with me. I have more understanding than all my teachers, because your testimonies are my meditation. I understand more than the elders, because I have kept your commandments. I have restrained my feet from every evil path, so that I may keep your word. I have not turned away from your judgments, because you have taught me. How sweet your words are to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth! Through your commandments I have gained understanding; therefore I have hated every path of falsehood.” (Psalms 119:97-104)

Thank you, Lord, because through your Word you will:

“…show us the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy, and at your right hand are pleasures forever.” (Psalms 16:11)

That is why:

“I will bless the Lord who counsels me; even at night my conscience instructs me.” (Psalms 16:7)

So for today:

“Give thanks in everything, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not quench the Spirit.” (1 Thessalonians 5:18-19)

May God continue to bless you
and may you continue to have an excellent day in Christ Jesus!
